"When You Can't Be There"

Tending to Memories is a service that is only offered in the Greater Atlanta Metropolitan area.  This is an individualized service that is best described as extended perpetual care.

Three types of Perpetual Care Services:

1.       Non Perpetual Care is when your loved ones resting place is in a more traditional family or a church type cemetery that may from time to time have a grounds keeper come in, or it may be your sole responsibility to take care of the site yourself.

2.       Perpetual Care is one of the most common ones today.  This is a resting place that usually is located is a large area that is manages by a firm.  The grounds are kept up by the firm, but no personal attention is given to your loved ones resting place.

3.       Extended Perpetual Care is a term that was coined by Tending to Memories.  Our service is one that is contracted by the family, friends or loved ones of the deceased.  Our services go beyond the traditional perpetual care and we offer the individualized attention that you would want you loved one to have.  We make sure that the marker or headstone is always clean and presentable, all debris and weeds are removed rather than just mowed over.  If need be we will fertilize and add grass seed or gravel.  We can even leave flowers and notes upon your request. 

One of the owners of Georgia Clean and Associates, LLC found himself in a position that rendered these services.  As the old saying goes, necessity is the mother of invention.  After the passing of my mother, I have two other brother that live out of the country, my sister has a phobia of cemeteries and hospitals and my father who remarried, for obvious reasons his current wife would really not want to take my father to visit my mother, especially on those special days like anniversaries and birthdays.  These circumstances lead to the founding of Tending to Memories.  This is not the first company of its kind, matter of fact it is a very large industry in Europe.  There is a very small handful across the United States, and we at Tending to Memories are happy to provide this service in Georgia.
